This is an archive of music artifacts - signed vinyl, posters, photographs, and other pieces - that I’ve collected so far. I’ll probably post a few things that aren’t signed too, just rare, unique, or cool.

Although this is a collection, I’m don’t think I’m approaching it as this as a collector, but more of as a fan. I’m not trying to collect EVERYTHING. The focus is on the artists that I’ve enjoyed the most - primarily the bands that spawned from the Lower East Side of NYC in the ’70s, the Western Massachusetts music scene I grew up around in the late ’80s and early ’90s, the Chicago industrial scene, as well as a handful of more recent bands. Plus Virginia, because who doesn’t love Gwar?

I’ve loved building this archive, both for the tangibles I’ve gotten and for the excuse it’s given me to let the artists I love know I appreciate them. Once the collection hit a certain level, I figured I’d share it with whoever might be interested.

I honestly have no idea what my goal with this site is. I have no commercial aspirations. I’m not selling anything. I’m not running ads. MAYBE I’ll do affiliate links to albums or such down the road, but again, that’s not really what I made this site for.

I’m not running ad networks or the usual tracking scripts here, and there’s no analytics account at Google or anywhere else following you around. The fonts and everything else load from my own domain, to keep Google from amassing data on visitors to my site.

The one measurement I do keep is Cloudflare’s basic web analytics. The site is hosted on Cloudflare already, so I let their beacon count page views and tell me roughly where visitors arrive from - which country, which link sent them. Cloudflare’s own description of it is that it sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and doesn’t fingerprint you or follow you to other sites. I get totals and countries; I can’t tell who you are, and I’m not trying to.

The only third parties involved are Cloudflare, because a site has to be hosted somewhere and now for those page counts, and Formspree, on the off chance someone wants to get in touch.
