Dirty and Goo were the two albums to that really broke Sonic Youth into the mainstream and of those two.

Dirty has far more songs that are engraved in my brain. Daydream Nation would have been the album do so if it had come out a couple years later when indie/alternative/grunge hit MTV. I would have loved to have contacted Kim, Lee and Thurston in hopes of having them sign off on an LP, but given the state of the band, I don’t think that would feasible
